The Concert Band is composed of freshmen and typically plays at level 4-5 music. This is designed for the serious musician who needs time in a lower-pressure environment. The class focuses on furthering the student’s ability to successfully perform a challenging piece of music. This band gives students a chance to refine their personal musical skills. The band plays several concerts throughout the year and participates in the Western District Festival. We currently have 27 students in our Concert Band.

The Symphonic Band consists mainly of sophomores, juniors and seniors and typically plays level 5-6 music. This is designed for the serious band student who desires refinement in their personal musical skills and for continuing education at the post-high school level. The class focuses on musical style, fine tuning of ensemble playing, sight-reading and refection of musical works. The band plays several concerts throughout the year and participates in the Western District Festival. We currently have 58 students in our Symphonic Band.
