There are fees associated with the band. These fees cover costs to have music written and arranged, instruction, drill, band camp instruction, concert camp instruction, transportation costs for any band related trip away from North Buncombe High School. Food and lodging costs for overnight trips, uniforms and associated repairs, costs to move band equipment from HS to band related events. For those students using a school owned instrument there will be an Instrument Usage Fee of $25.00 per semester assessed. This will show on your monthly statement in August and January. This is deemed necessary by the band director to cover repairs due to general wear and tear.
These fees are to be paid to the Band Boosters of North Buncombe High School over a 4 month period (July 30, August 30, September 30 & October 30).

All volunteers must be sure that their hours are registered with the Volunteer Coordinator in order to qualify for the discount student fee. In order to qualify for Option #1, volunteers must sign up with the Volunteer Coordinator by July 1, 2010. If a volunteer does not fulfill their duties they will be required to pay the remainder of the balance by May 31, 2011. For anyone that feels that they should be excempt for a particulate reason shall submit in writing a reasonable cause to the Booster Executive Committee and the Band Director for review.
